A few CCEKA members got together for a Close Quarters Combat Torsi workshop in Toronto, 16 May 2015 with GM Nonoy. Practitioners were first introduced to knife culture awareness then proceeded with two man drills employing the use of joint locking, trapping, counter trapping and reversals, including knife disarming and counter attacking to neutralize knife slash attacks. GM Nonoy concluded the workshop with very effective defense flow options against the fist and the Muay Thai clinch using classical dumog of Trankada Aldabon eskrima. Looking forward to the next! :) |
